Firstly, I would like to tell everyone watching that this overclocking will not harm your GPU. That being said, while the overclock won't hurt it, high temperatures can. I haven't had any troubles with heat since my overclocking, but for your first benchmark run you should probably take a look at the temps of your GPU on 3DMark just to be safe since I can't account for everyone's individual cooling setup.
