Arduino-Based Alcohol Sensing Alert with Engine Locking System Using GPS & GSM
This project implements a smart alcohol sensing alert system integrated with engine locking functionality using Arduino, MQ-3 alcohol sensor, GPS, and GSM modules. It is designed to prevent drunk driving by automatically detecting the alcohol level in the driver’s breath. If the alcohol concentration exceeds a preset safe limit, the system immediately locks the vehicle’s engine and sends an SMS alert containing the GPS coordinates of the vehicle to predefined emergency contacts. The project also features a real-time LCD display to show sensor readings and system status with buzzer alerts for immediate warnings.
