When songwriter Paul Simon wrote "I was twenty-one years when I wrote this song, I'm twenty-two now but I won't be for long. Time hurries on and the leaves that are green turn to brown" he must have been thinking about the passage of time. Green leaves may "turn to brown" and eventually, and as the song unfolds, Paul Simon writes that they (the leaves) "crumble in your hand." Before they do crumble, however, I thought I'd take a video to celebrate them at this point as they make their way journey green to brown.
