Learn how to trace with a projector! An art projector makes tracing simple and fast. Choose the image you want to draw and then project it onto any surface. Transfer the details by drawing over the general shapes and contours that have the most contrast. More subtle details can be left out while tracing, it is important to get the broader structural components laid out in your composition first. Afterwards you will be able to fill in and flesh out the rest of the detail without the projector and begin going back over the traced image with your choice of media.
