If we have a lot of posts in our database, and the settings specify that we should publish five posts per page, the question arises: how do we display the remaining posts?

It's simple – we need pagination, or pagination.

In Wordpress, the_posts_pagination() function is used for this. With this function, you can set up navigation by blog pages, article archives, other post types, and so on.

Pagination looks like this: prev 1 ... 3 4 5 ... 19 next. You've often seen this on websites. Now learn how to do it yourself.
