This was TYPO Labs 2018 – How far can we go?
TYPO Labs 2018 was held from April 12–14 at Umweltforum Berlin – a former church turned into a fully ecological conference venue.
The conference brought together over 380 leading engineers, designers and practitioners from the font industry to discuss the latest developments in font engineering. The hot topic of 2018 was outstandingly Variable Fonts. Next to a variety of tool related questions was the debate on trending aspects within the creation of non-Latin scripts.
