The Observatory
My favorite scene from the Dark Crystal was Augra's Observatory. I have always wanted to rummage around her space and explore this environment. @JimHensonCompany inspired my imagination when I was a kid way back in the 1980s and, in many ways, this film nurtured an interest in making models (the Labyrinth and Star Wars too!). I created all of the models, animations, and textures from frame grabs from the film. Took a few artistic liberties on the textures; I wanted each planet to be colorful, intriguing, and exciting. Watch to the end for a fun little easter-egg that the fans will remember from the film. Re-mastered in 4K with a few updated textures.
