WS Aware and SMP Web App - Installation & Overview | SCS
In this short video series, we offer viewers a general understanding of all the Static Management Program (SMP) compatible products and the software’s capabilities with it, starting with the WS Aware Monitor. Along with a general overview, we cover standard installation, common problems, and software management.
The SMP software allows you to continuously monitor your entire ESD process throughout all stages of manufacturing, including worksurfaces, metal tools, operators, static fields, ESD events and ionizer performance. It is designed to be used with the Ground Master Monitor (770044), EM Aware Monitor (770066), WS Aware Monitor (770067, 770068) and the Ion Pro™ Benchtop Ionizer (770116, 770117).
The SCS WS Aware Monitor is a dual workstation continuous monitor for operators, ESD worksurfaces and metal tools. It continuously monitors the path-to-ground integrity and body voltage of two operators, as well as the path-to-ground integrity for two conductive or dissipative worksurfaces and two metal tools. It also continuously monitors for electromagnetic interference (EMI) on two metal tools which may cause electrical overstress (EOS) damage. The WS Aware Monitor eliminates the need for periodic testing and record keeping of wrist straps.
