One of the more advanced features of HCX is Mobility-Optimized Networking (MON). This feature can be very powerful in migrations and hybrid cloud use cases. MON allows us to add some intelligent routing to avoid the "trombone effect," where packets are sent back on-prem before routed back to the cloud to reach a destination. This latency can be detrimental to split applications, and MON allows us to optimize for those scenarios.
