FFXIV Patch 7.4 PvP Update Overview: A step in the right direction?
No earthshattering changes this patch, but we did get a few of the usual headscratchers, a new Frontlines map, and CCRC finally announced! While I think the changes to shield break and heal cut are a net positive (because let's be honest, at this point anything that makes shield break less oppressive is a good change), in the end I'm on the camp that it needs to be removed as a mechanic, sooner rather than later.
I will be taking a short break to regain my energies before continuing to produce content for this channel in January. I hope everyone has a lovely end to 2025, and a great start to 2026!
