Sweep V1 - AI junior developer
Over the past few months, we’ve been building Sweep, an AI-powered junior developer. Over the past two weeks, we’ve narrowed our focus and greatly improved:
Reliability - Sweep needs to generate PRs consistently.
Iteration Speed - Sweep should quickly show you what’s happening, so you don’t have to wait for the entire issue to finish.
Along with a major rework of every step, we built a new dashboard of Sweep’s progress in real-time — from search to planning to coding!
In this video, Sweep edits itself, writing a new agent that filters user queries for lexical search. You can now see each and every prompt we construct, as well as the results of the prompt in real time!
