ISP Video of Fatal Shooting in Mt Vernon, May 9, 2023
Illinois State Police release video of Officers stopping to aid a stranded motorist, who they find has a felony arrest warrant. The suspect fights officers, grabs a gun inside his car and shoots at the ISP officers, wounding one. The other ISP officer returns fire, fatally shooting the suspect.
