Does Perth get good waves?
Perth in Western Australia is not known for its surf but like most places that are exposed to at least a little bit of swell, it has its days.
This day is a good indication of average Perth conditions with a swell running. Backwash and close outs are commonplace but every now and then there may be a diamond in the rough.
An advantage Perth has over other capital cities (except Darwin) is that it is closer to Indo and waves like this.
