So this isn't anything new, but it can often be forgotten! Too often, I try to use the clipping mask tool on a design, only to be left with a transparent shell of where a design should be. Or worse... just one section of the design being used as a mask 🙈

Thankfully, compound paths are an absolute game-changer when it comes to combining complex shapes in order to work with clipping masks!
