lithium ion batters have 1000 to 2000 life cycles but log9 LTO batteries
to have 40,000 lifecycles and 10+ years of
battery life.
Which means 20 times higher battery life cycles than existing nmc and lfp chemistry.
In 2015, Akshay Singhal, a Ph.D. in nanotechnology, partnered with Kartik Hajela, alumni of IIT Roorkee, and started the company log9 materials introduced Graphene metal air battery in 2018 which offers 1000 km of range.
The battery runs on water, air, and aluminium making it clean battery technology.
