trying HASSELBACK potatoes for the first time.... absolutely delicious
to help cut down on AIRFRYER cooking time with potatoes, I always give mine a big microwave for about 10+ mins (depending on size and amount)

Potatoes - old or new - works with both
I used Maris Piper and New Potatoes, microwaved first 10/20 mins dependent on size and amount. Once microwaved, leave to cool until ok to handle. Slice (not going right though) brush oil of your choice onto the potatoes
pop toppings of your choice on potatoes and ROAST at 200c/390f for 10 to 15 mins
Hasselbacken comes from the name of the Swedish restaurant that invented Hassleback potatoes. Hassel means Hazel and Backen means slope. The restaurant was (or still is) next to a hazel thicket and a mountain slope.
