UPS Surepost Talk 10/25/24
USPS has recently instituted a new rule within the past few months. Any packages that are UPS Surepost that are dropped off at USPS instead of UPS will be confiscated, if they are caught, and also destroyed. USPS doesn't want to be taking on the extra burden of full delivery transit of items that are supposed to be handled by UPS for the majority of the transit trip until it is handed off to USPS on the last leg of the trip for final delivery.
