WHAT IS BRASIL CACAU?
It's a permanent restructuring treatment consisting of three phases. It specializes in treating all hair types, but is ideal for those with a lot of frizz, volume, and unruly waves. It leaves hair tamed, manageable, soft, and extremely shiny. This product made from cocoa, keratin, panthenol is composed of acetic acid and as a final ingredient and in my opinion the most important, the one that takes center stage, hated by many but loved by all, the magic potion, the one that will be the cause of the sneezing and tears in the hairdresser and that is nothing more and nothing less than Formaldehyde which is found in a proportion of 0.4% inside, this is said and recognized by the brand itself although it is denied in its ingredients marked on the label. As a recommendation, and going a little outside the tutorial, if you want to recognize whether a straightener contains formaldehyde or not, it's likely to make you cry, sneeze, and give you a scratchy throat. So, if you bought a natural, organic, pregnant-friendly, vegan, cruelty-free, paraben- and gluten-free straightener from your salon, but it meets these three rules of crying without emotion, sneezing without reason, and tickling your throat, chances are your straightener contains formaldehyde or one of its derivatives. Or, as a hairdresser friend would say, if it doesn't have formaldehyde, it doesn't do anything for your hair and is just another cream. Formaldehyde is here to stay in hair salons, and it's hidden inside many salon treatments because without formaldehyde, there's no paradise.
