A comfortable sportsbike – that what BMW is trying to achieve with the brand new BMW S 1000 XR. At its heart lies a retuned version of the S 1000 RR’s engine and geometry that’s more akin to an adventure bike than a track bike. So does it succeed? For the most part, yes.
