Mt. Adams Reveal
Located in south central Washington, Mt. Adams may be the least accessible of the Pacific Northwest Cascades. It is bordered by the Yakima Nation to the east and the Mt. Adams Wilderness Area to the east. This short video was captured from a launch point as close as I could get to the mountain on a USFS road and still remain just outside of the Wilderness Area boundary. [The airspace over wilderness areas is restricted for drones] The mission (FAA lingo for a flight) was confined to a vertical flight to avoid haphazardly wandering in the Wilderness Area airspace. The video was captured on April 18, 2024 using a drone.
