What a great day for the environment! Over 40 kids and parents of Huntlee got their hands dirty for our planet, wildlife, water quality, and community altogether. We joined the National Tree Day on the 31st of July 2022, Australia's largest tree planting and nature care event.
Tree planting is an effort to assist the rehabilitation of the riparian corridor along Ferry Parade. This in-turn improves the visual amenity and assists with wildlife habitats and furthermore, improves the water quality entering the corridor. We are very proud of being part of a community that acts for the environment by planting trees and smartly using drinking and recycled water. Way to go, Huntlee residents!
