Beng Bengs, Playgrounds, Mentawai Islands
There's always time for a Beng Beng's session. A reasonably long wave that offers a succession of feathering walls for both down the line carves as well as multiple top turns. Set in a very scenic and tranquil bay, Beng Beng's is always worth a look but is ideal from chest high to just over head high. When the swell maxes it out, it’s time to head to E-bay. Certainly a great warm up location that’s protected from the southerly winds, works on all tides (which is a bonus) - and is very consistent, certainly one of the regions friendlier waves, its always popular with the more intermediate surfers.
