Cain & Abel (with Narration)
Dramatized retelling of the story of Cain and Abel as described in Genesis chapter 4, and the prophetic meaning for us today. If this turns into an anime, the ending will end with Cain overwriting the red Hebrew tav (cross mark) with a black swastika (mark of the beast). For now, just use your imagination...

Ian: Thanks for explaining this Bible stuff to me. Nobody has really taken the time to explain it the way you have to me. I feel like I've learned a lot already. My name is Ian by the way.
Dan: Nice to meet you Ian. My name is Dan.
Ian: Dan...
Dan: Yep. It's a Hebrew name, but quite common and nothing special.
Ian: Nice to meet you Dan. Well, it’s getting pretty late, but I can squeeze in one more story. So, what went down after Adam and Eve got booted from Eden?
Dan: After Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden and resettled in the wilderness, they had two sons, the older son Cain and the younger Abel. Cain was a farmer, and Abel a shepherd. In the course of time, Cain brought to Jehovah an offering of vegetables.
Cain: Behold what your servant Cain has brought forth from the earth!
Dan: But... nothing happened. His brother Abel also brought an offering- a lamb of the firstborn of his flock.
Abel: Oh Lord God, thank you for your love and mercy. Thank you for your provision and sustaining us, though we have sinned and disobeyed your command by eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Accept this meager offering of mine, and blot out all of my transgressions, and create in me a clean heart.
Dan: And immediately fire came down from the sky and consumed it.
Cain: What!?
Dan: So God showed regard for Abel and his offering, but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. Cain was very angry when he witnessed this, and his face fell.
Ian: Why did God reject Cain's offering?
Dan: Some think because he didn't bring his best- his firstfruits. But even if he did, he had a pride issue. If it were a thanksgiving offering, then it was rejected because he wasn't thanking God for providing, but rather "Look God, what I've done!" He was also covetous. He always wanted more, never satisfied. But God wasn't impressed by what a covetous and prideful man had gotten from forcing the ground. He was after the heart. Though, if it were a sin offering, then it would've never worked, because a sin offering required a blood sacrifice.
God: Cain... Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.
Devil: Did God really say, you won't be accepted?
Cain: He said "if you do well, will you not be accepted."
Devil: God is lying to you... You will never be good enough. God loves Abel more than you. He is the reason your offering was rejected. Killing Abel will solve your problems. No one will miss Abel. You deserve to be the favored one.
Cain: Greetings my brother! Let's go out to the field and... "talk."
Dan: And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him. And buried the body thinking to escape discovery. But after many days, when he thought he had gotten away with the murder of his brother, God himself confronted him.
God: Cain, Where is Abel your brother?
Cain: I... I am at a loss for his disappearing...
God: Cain... where is your brother Abel?
Cain: I do not know! Am I my brother’s keeper?
God: I wonder at you, that you know not what is become of a man... whom you have destroyed. What have you done!? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground! And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you work the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.
Cain: Ah! My punishment is greater than I can bear! Behold, you have driven me today away from the ground, and from your face I shall be hidden. I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.
God: Not so! Listen, I could strike you dead right now, and would be justified in doing so for your wickedness, but I choose to have mercy upon you. If anyone kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.
Dan: And Jehovah put a mark on Cain, lest any who found him should attack him.
Ian: A mark?
Dan: It could have been a physical mark, or some think it was simply a taboo aura that went with him. Whatever it was, nobody messed with him. Then Cain went away from the presence of the LORD and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
Ian: Land of Nod?
Dan: Mesopotamia region. Cain built a city, and named the city after the name of his son, Enoch.
