Enki (God of Wisdom, Water, Creation)
Enlil (God of Air, Wind, Storms)
Anu (Supreme God, Sky)
The concept of a powerful trinity of gods is seen across various cultures and mythologies, often embodying creation, preservation, and destruction (Mesopotamian, Hindu, Inca, Greek, Egyptian, Norse, Christianity):
Creation: Anu (Mesopotamian), Brahma (Hindu), Viracocha (Inca), Zeus (Greek), Ra (Egyptian), Odin (Norse), God (Christianity)
Preservation/Protection: Enki (Mesopotamian), Vishnu (Hindu), Pachamama (Inca), Poseidon (Greek), Osiris (Egyptian), Thor (Norse), Michael the Archangel (Christianity)
Destruction/Transformation: Enlil (Mesopotamian), Shiva (Hindu), Supay (Inca, god of death and the underworld), Hades (Greek), Set (Egyptian), Loki (Norse), Lucifer (Christianity)
These deities reflect common themes across myths, but while they were considered powerful beings, they are not the ultimate Cosmic Supreme Being. They represent distinct roles and powers within their respective mythologies. What are your thoughts on these divine parallels?
