Glitched Stitchery Vlog 011: Dip Dyeing Handspun Cheviot Yarn with Wiltons Violet Food Coloring
Good morning everyone! Today I’m re-visiting my handspun from my Cheviot breed study and testing it out in a simple, food-safe food coloring dye bath. I learned how to do this from watching Chemknit’s videos; she is truly the dye master! I’ll link below to the video in particular that helped.
Next month’s breed for the Longway Homestead Breed Study is Wensleydale! I’m super excited; it’s one of my favorites. That said, what would you personally use this Cheviot yarn for? I’m thinking 126 yards of chunky three-ply should make a super squishy hat!
