MinIO Enterprise Object Store - Firewall
MinIO Enterprise Firewall is an S3 aware, data-centric, object storage firewall designed for applications using the MinIO Enterprise Object Store. Unlike traditional firewalls, the MinIO firewall is lightweight and can run alongside the MinIO Enterprise Object Store service configuring rules on specific objects, buckets, and specific prefixes, ensures control over storage security The firewall has the capability to throttle requests based on bandwidth and request rate, load balance traffic across minio servers, and supports TLS termination right out of the box using let's encrypt, among others. The MinIO firewall also includes monitoring liveness port for high availability, health check for load balancing, and support for S3 console and SFTP endpoints.
MinIO is an open-source object storage server released under the GNU AGPL v3 license. It's compatible with Amazon S3, making it a great choice for deploying your storage infrastructure on Kubernetes.
