This was probably my 5th time playing Dreamio. You can see in this video I am no longer using the free tokens that have come with the game and have switched to using API keys, which changes the narrator's voice from when I first had the game. The quality of the AI generated images seemed to improve substantially, and seemed to make the AI more likely to draw things like creatures, costumes, bodies and faces. It was also one of the first games where I tinkered with changing the default setting for the narrator. I removed the line about not allowing supernatural events, and added the line "The player does not die easily" and "The tone of the story is comedic". The AI does not excel at writing comedy, but I feel like it still managed to help me put on quite a show, as the AI does seem to have a grasp of how conflict and spectacle work in a story. About halfway through my gameplay, (about 8 minutes into the recording) I started to feel like the narrator was just indulging me in a power fantasy, so I added a line about how the player can be captured for comedic effect. I felt like having the villain actually achieve anything like world domination would lead to a boring end. The music track was also removed during gameplay, and this made it much easier to add in some editing that would be less jarring. The editing probably cut the video length from well over an hour down to 23 minutes, and confines the displayed video mostly to just the narrator responses to my input, with a few extra seconds added to help capture some of the better AI generated images.
