2nd single of our Junior Year Album. Hope you all love it as much as we do! Looking Back explores us facing our fallen nature and coming to terms with letting it go.
LYRICS
Toe to toe
You want me to relive it all
Like fighting on the telephone but I'm not down for that
On the coast
Of what I never lived before
Come closer let me see it all
Before these feelings pass
So close but far away from me
The vision past what I can see
So close but far away from me
Maybe I believe in something
It's all I've ever known and I can depend
And I know the standard pretense
But looking back I know I'll never be alone again
Toe to toe
It's all that we've ever known
And I'm just trying to make sense of your kind
Maybe I believe in something
It's all I've ever known and I can depend
And I know the standard pretense
But looking back I know I'll never be alone again
So close but far away from me
The vision past what I can see
So close but far away from me
Maybe I believe in something
It's all I've ever known and I can depend
And I know the standard pretense
But looking back I know I'll never be alone again

The Indie Pop band, with Stranger Things - like sounds, are reaching the hearts of people worldwide and cutting into the Jersey music scene. Their nostalgic 80’s inspired sound immediately transports the listener to a night at the arcade. ØM-53 consists of 4 musicians from New Jersey taking a wide range of influences from The 1975, Her’s, Tennis, Boy Pablo, and The Midnight. With their nostalgic pop, Juno synths, lush chorus guitars, and catchy melodies, the band made a statement that their sound is here to stay.
Their Freshman album “Defender” has reached almost 1 million streams on Spotify since January 2020 earning them a spot on the main stage at Creation Festival to open up for Hillsong Young & Free.
