At PMI we are migrating over 1000 applications from on-prem to AWS. This brings unprecedented organizational challenges to teams and decades old departments who are now shifting to a product based org and adopting DevOps best practices. I will talk a bit more in detail about the platform architecture and the teams that are making this transition to the cloud happen
BIO:
I am cloud engineer at PMI, my first "big" tech project was a mobile app system to help bakers who do door to door deliveries manage their orders and trips, that project was an economical failure :) After that I worked as a developer for ecomerce and car subscription industries. In 2018 I transitioned to full time DevOps engineer and have since been involved in migrating a variety of applications to the AWS cloud as well as implementing multiple cloud native solutions
