FINDING THE ARMOUR GLOVES - LET"S PLAY DISCO ELYSIUM (FULL GAME) - PART 34
I didn’t know anything about this game when I first got it. All I knew was it was a fantastic game and won a bunch of awards. Particularly The Game Awards where it won 4 awards for Best Narrative, Best Debut Indie Game, Best Independent Game, and Best Role Playing. When it won so many awards, I was like I gotta get this game and see what is all the hype about. Went home after the ceremony and emptied my wallet. That’s a bit of an exaggeration, it is only 40 bucks. Anyways, I bought the game and never played until 4 months later on March 15, 2020. Listen, there were other games I wanted to play and others that I wanted to finish. Looking back now, after playing about 2 hours of the game, I kinda regret doing that. The freedom and the characters that you meet are so goddamn phenomenal. It gave me the same feeling that I had when I first played Fallout 3. And that is to marvel in a sensational world to explore and make it my world.To be honest, I went in totally blind not realizing what kind of game this was or any of the features it has. And I am glad I didn’t research it more because it made this experience so much better. You should go in blind and figure out how beautiful and lively the world is, because not knowing and figuring everything out is part of the fun. Now, I always put the description of the game below, but I highly recommend you to not read it. Trust me.
Also, Disco Elysium is the game that made me want to look at more indie games. I have been playing mainly AAA games from established developers. I have played some indie games here and there but recently I have been full forced on looking for indie games and playing what catches my eyes.
