Keith Lawson Custom Tanto (Overview)
This is and overview of this handmade, custom Tanto, made by Keith Lawson. This Tanto was hand forged, using 15N20 and 1095 to make a twisted Damascus pattern, with scabbard and handle made of a combination of padauk, ash wood, poplar, lacewood, walnut, brass and copper. Keith is an unknown maker at the point of the making of this video, but I am lucky enough to know him personally, and have the pleasure of watching his progress as a bladesmith.
