Host Body - Half Life Short
This is a fan short that was created for my now discontinued project for breengrub.com. This video shows the initialization of the NSRP, or Neural Substrate Reconstitution Protocol. This is what I named the process of imprinting Breen's backed up consciousness into that of an adolescent combine advisor's host body. Was very challenging to code the animations for the text, but the end result I think was great. This was an actual experience available as part of the website, that allowed the users to choose a decision tree that ultimately would link folks back together if they worked together for either Y or N.
Again this was another way to expand upon story narratives and art styles, seeing how I could make something that had a certain level of "polish" that met my standards.
