Women in Engineering, Science and Technoloy’ (WEST) programme
Women in Engineering, Science and Technology (WEST) Programme marks the conjunction of two powerful forces, namely science and technology, and women to create a thriving human resource in the S&T sector which could cater to the needs of our nation while reducing gender disparities in the field. The WEST Programme provides a platform for co-creation and application of knowledge by researchers, scientists, and technologists in association with local communities at grassroot in order to cater specific needs within the community while ensuring the maximum utilization of established governance structures. In alignment with the STEM programme of the Ministry, NSF implemented WEST Progarmme.
