Dissonant | Elektron Digitakt & 60hp Modular Synth (Mutable Instruments Rings & Clouds) Synth Jam
Little improv jam on the Digitakt sending a midi sequence to the modular. Midi converted to CV, CV gate and pitch to the 'Mutable Instruments Rings', then into the 'Clouds'. 'Noise Engineering Clep Diaz LFO' for modulation. 'Dreadbox WhiteLine Multiplier & VCA' in there too.
Drum sounds are all sampled on the Digitakt & sequenced there. The melody is a midi sequence sent from the Digitakt to the modular skiff, with random probability on some of the notes.
This is a a combination I use when playing live sets. Very fun to improvise on the Digitakt whilst having the temporary save as a fallback.
YES, the clouds is clipping a little during this but it was done in one take so fuck it, sue me.
