How to Disable Automatic Updates On Windows 11 - Stop Windows Update
In this video we will show you how to stop and turn off Windows automatic update in every possible way.
Solution 1.
Change the Setting of the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc )
Go to "Computer Configuration" - "Administrative Templates" - "Windows Components" - "Windows Update".
Select "Disabled" in Configured Automatic Updates to disable the Windows automatic update feature.
Solution 2.
Change the way of Windows 10 Updates Using Registry
Editing the registry is risky, and it can cause irreversible damage to your installation if you don't do it correctly.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU\DWORD (32-bit) Value
Once you complete the steps, Windows Update should stop trying to download and install updates automatically on your device.
Manual Update:
Settings - Update & Security - Windows Update, and clicking the Check for updates button.
