Clearing up New York State wages on the W-2
Often times when an employee who has withholding in multiple states (with one of them being New York) receives their W-2, the instant reaction is that their W-2 is wrong. It’s showing all of their wages in New York and still some more wage in the other state. That's not the case. Ashley Hamilton, our Tax Manager, explains why.
