Why The Metaverse Just Won’t Work
The Web 3.0 Era is knocking at our doors. And with it, NFTs and the Metaverse. While most people are looking forward to these technological advancements, to me they pose great danger.
We already live in a very digital world, in which we spend most our time on front of screens. The Metaverse and NFTs will only make the boundary between real and virtual more difficult to see.
And that is my problem with NFTs and the Metaverse. We'll be less inclined to live our real lives, and more to escape to the digital realms, in which we'll be able to be whomever we want.
