More Leather Tooling Footage How To Tool And Carve Leather video shot in my saddle shop in Gaineville Texas. My leather sewing machine is a cowboy cb-4500 that I used to sew the spur straps with. I use white 346 polyester sewing machine thread with a size 200 needle. The swivel knife I use for tooling and carving my leather designs is made by Barry King leather tools. I use Craftool leather stamping tools and some old antique leather tools that have been in the family for many years.

The Granite stone I use on my leather stamping table measures 18" x 22" x 4" thick and got it at the local monument place here in town.
