Did you use the Setup Assistant in GA4 or has Google already migrated you from Universal Analytics?
Neither one of those setups is fully configured and it’s using tags on your site that have no guarantee of working after July 1.
There is a way to get out of both of those setups and create your own GA4 property the right way and get it connected the right way.
I just added a new tutorial to BlogAid’s Ultimate Google Analytics 4 Course for Bloggers to show you how to check if you have a botched setup, even if you’re receiving analytics data in GA4.
And you’ll see how to get out of that setup.
Keep in mind that you have until July 1st to start using Google Analytics 4, as that is the cutoff date for Universal Analytics.
And Google has already started auto migrating UA users over to GA4, but nothing about that setup is even complete, much less good. When you check it, you’ll see that only 2 of 12 steps have been completed.
So, don’t wait until the last minute.
Come over to BlogAid and get the info you need and get your GA4 squared away now.
This is just one of the site success tips you’ll find in the BlogAid Tips Tuesday for March 14 https://bit.ly/42d11sL
