Journey of Soft Suave Employee | Maria Kigin: Software Engineer (Trainee) to Team Leader
Maria Kigin is the Mobile Team Lead at Soft Suave and has been with the company for almost seven years. Ramesh interviewed him for the Job, kigin shared that the interview process consisted of three rounds, with a heavy emphasis on testing his technical skills. Despite the rigid selection process, Kigin was able to secure a position as an Android developer and has been with the company ever since.
Since joining Soft Suave, Kigin has been given the freedom to learn and explore mobile technologies such as Android, iOS, and others. He attributes much of his success to the guidance and support of his seniors and team members.
Kigin has since taken it upon himself to pay it forward by helping his team members in the same way. He notes that this culture of guidance and support has become a defining characteristic of Soft Suave, allowing team members to constantly explore and learn new technologies.
Reflecting on his time at Soft Suave, Kigin believes that he has achieved his goal of working on a variety of projects and exploring new technologies every day. He encourages anyone interested in learning and exploring technology to consider joining Soft Suave, even if they feel that their communication skills could be improved. Kigin notes that communication and other skills tend to improve naturally in the supportive and collaborative environment of the company.
