Rec 709 VS. Custom Color Grading w/ RAW in Davinci Resolve

I have had a lot of users asking me for my post workflow on Yosemite which I shot on the BMPCC (BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera). I have a few other projects I am finishing in post I want to get out, so I am releasing this video until then.
This video shows Rec. 709 color correction (basically Davinci's auto color correction) vs. going in manually and doing the color correction/grading yourself.
I think the Rec 709 does a great job bringing it to an even level, however with a little bit of tweaking to the RAW files in post and I feel I can get a more cinematic look. Tell me what you think!?
