Climbing up the hillside of Marina Grande towards the old town of Capri, you get amazing amazing views of Gulf of Naples and Sorrento Peninsula. On the top you find Piazza Umberto Primo, called La Piazzetta by the locals with several restaurants and bars in a picturesque environment. Take the opportunity to have a drink and soak up the beauty around you. In one corner of the Piazza stands the clock tower, Torre del Orologio, that has become a landmark of the island of Capri. The former Cathedral of Santo Stefano, dating from the 17th century, is another landmark of the island, located in one corner of La Piazzetta.
