Authentication System based on Kerberos
Kerberos is a computer network authentication protocol designed to provide strong authentication for client/server applications by using secret-key cryptography. It was developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is now an industry standard
The Kerberos protocol uses a trusted third-party authentication server to verify the identity of clients and servers in a network. This authentication server is known as the Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC). When a client requests access to a resource, the KDC generates a ticket-granting ticket (TGT) that is encrypted using the client's password as a key. This TGT is then used to request service tickets from the KDC for specific network services
In this Video i work about a lab when i create 3 machines virtual :
-Windows Server : to use AD as a KDC to generate Ticket
-SQL SERVER : as a application server to test access on it
-Windows Clien 10 : to test access with it
