It is important to calculate the cost of project correctly because you as a company or agency owner giving a weak figure to the client most of the time cost of the project would be either too high or too low, both the condition is not good for you. If you charge too high from the client you will end up losing your project and lose competitiveness from other players and if you charge less from the client it will end up losing money because you need to pay a fixed salary to your employees.
If you have estimated that project would take 40 days to build but it took 60 days, you need to pay extra salary for those 20 days and those extra days were eat up your profit margins.
