What is truth? What is it made of? Why does what seems so right to us today take on a different meaning tomorrow?
In this episode, I will talk about Aletheia, the concept of truth as unveiling, which is so important for phenomenological-existential psychology.
Based on Heidegger's reading of Plato's famous Myth of the Cave, I bring a reflection on how our truths are transformed throughout life; how Dasein and Aletheia relate to each other and, of course, how all of this happens in phenomenological-existential psychotherapy and in the process of self-knowledge. The chapters are divided as follows:
00:00 - 02:32 Opening/Initial Reflection
02:33 -04:50 Heidegger and the Myth of the Cave
04:51 - 08:28 The Myth of the Cave
08:29 - 13:15 Paideia and Aletheia
13:16 - 16:39 Dasein, Aletheia and psychotherapy
16:40 - 18:56 Conclusion: crossing and possibilities
I hope this episode brings you good reflections. ❤❤❤
