Hi, friends! Today - all of a sudden and out of schedule I'm jumping out from my sympho/gothic/doom routine and bringing you the Iced Earth cover! How cool is that, huh? Those who know me well - know that my roots are deeply into power and thrash metal genres. They were first in line, then came all of the epic symphonic stuff. And Iced Earth was always in my Top 5 bands ever! If I need to name a few names that inspire me as a guitarist and helped me create my style - well, Jon Schaffer's name is one of them. Both he and James Hetfield taught me how to downpick fast! I started this channel back in 2007 or 2009 and my very first videos were actually Iced Earth covers shot on a little pocket camera! So yea, Iced Earth was always a big part of my life and their legacy won't be forgotten! I don't give a single F even if the band is "cancelled" now by a lot of so-called "fans" that abandon it after *we-all-know-what-happened*. I still rocking their music loud and proud! But haters gonna hate, as always.
So for this banger I asked Julian to lay his vocals and he made it flawlessly!
It's one of their most fast, brutal and thrashy songs ever. Released in 1996 as a part of "The Dark Saga" CD and dedicated to the one and only Spawn!
