Summary (20/07/2020) :- In 2020, floods were caused due to heavy rain in Assam and rising level of water in Brahmaputra.
At least 28 of Assam’s 33 districts have been declared as flood-affected and more than 45 lakh people impacted by the rising waters of the Brahmaputra and other rivers that flow through the state.
