This is my Tesla camping road trip to Death Valley. My daughter and I wanted to see the stars at night, so we planned an overnight stay at Wildrose Campground followed by a night at The Ranch at Death Valley in the city of Furnace Creek. This trip took place over the three-day Labor Day Weekend in September of 2020. At the time we were in the middle of a record-breaking heat wave, a global COVID-19 pandemic, and a record setting season of California wildfires that obliterated the normally blue skies. In the video I give tips on camping in a Tesla, discuss range anxiety and the limitations of driving an EV in Death Valley. I also show the various RV campgrounds, EV charging options and some of the main tourist sites to see in Death Valley National Park.
