Hey Friends!

I hope you are all safe and well.

This week we are talking about getting ready spaces.

A good getting ready space before your wedding is essential. Whether it is at your home at a hotel, an Air b&b or on site at your venue.

It is your choice.

Remember you want to feel cool, calm and collected before your wedding and sometimes a space can help or do the exact opposite.

As far as photography is concerned the most important thing to think about is big space with lots of natural light, lots of windows.

I didn’t mention this in the video but if there are no windows we have lots of flashes and off camera lighting, but the most beautiful photographs especially in the morning are with natural light.

Some things to avoid are dark walls and dark toned walls, as these will throw the colour onto your skin and your white dress.

It’s also good to maybe consider if you don’t like mess to clean up the space before the photography team gets there.

If you do want to have those memories of how things really were, those real life memories then tell you're photographer that you like it like that and just keep it as is.

Another thing to do if you’re at home and you want that clean hotel feel. Is to clear away any clutter any weird art on the walls or children’s toys and knick knacks.
Have nothing on the benches or floor.

THANK-YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!
