Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castile were directly responsible for the unification of the territory that is now called Spain. They conquered the last Muslim caliphate in the Iberian Peninsula and initiated a series of persecutions against Muslims and Jews, expelling most of them from the country. They also created the Spanish Inquisition and helped Columbus with his navigation plans, even adding part of America to their domains. This video is about them.
